This summer, Sophie joins Blaize from Weeping Willow Wellness at the Shambhala Music Festival as a facilitator — bringing somatic dance, Reiki, and contact dance to one of the most beloved festival communities in the world. Born in 1998 on the unceded lands of the Syilx, Sinixt and Ktunaxa Nations in British Columbia, Shambhala has grown from a 500-person gathering into a 21,000-strong celebration of music, art, and community — rooted in inclusion, harm reduction, and a deep respect for the land. It is exactly the kind of space where healing through movement belongs.
